Puglia is still a relatively unknown region in the south of Italy that is absolutely worth a visit. The most famous town is Alberobello with its trulli houses. But the beaches and coastal towns are also more than worth a visit. We spent 4 nights here in June and therefore chose two different accommodations. One in Alberobello, to explore the Trullis and Matera & the other one on the coast in Polignano a Mare – both of them I can absolutely recommend!

Calabria – a hidden gem in Italy
White beaches, turquoise crystal-clear water, secluded bays and quaint villages. Calabria is the southernmost region of the mainland of Italy and for sure one of the most beautiful ones. The region is already a popular holiday destination among the locals, but it is still relatively unknown among foreign tourists. Calabria not only has a lot to offer in terms of bathing, but also culinary delights and is therefore perfect for a relaxing holiday to enjoy the typical southern Italian flair!
where to stay in Monaco on a budget
Monaco – best things to do & see
Monaco, a small city-state with Italian flair on the French Riviera, where luxury & glamour can be found, is definitely worth a visit. I have been there a total of 4 times now and fell in love with this place since the first time. The beautiful views on the sea in connection with the partly beautiful French houses but also the modern skyscrapers, the yachts and the well-kept city in general, has really done it to me.

A perfect weekend in Cinque Terre & Pisa – best things to do & see
The Cinque Terre are the 5 coastal villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza & Monterosso al Mare on the Italian Riviera. They are known for their colorful houses and terraced vineyards on the steep slopes. There is a hiking trail called ‚Sentiero Azzurro‘ that connects the villages and offers beautiful panoramic views over the coast.
